Biography
Ellie was inspired to pursue nursing by her mother, a now happily retired nurse. Her love of radiology was inspired by her father who used to bring home X-ray films (with identifiers removed) for her to look at as early as middle school.
Neonatology became a passion during nursing school. Following the journey of a sick premature neonate from tiny and ventilated to chunky and home-bound during her final semester in nursing school sparked a true love for NICU.
Ellie and her husband are the proud parents of an incredible son; collectively they share their joy and their home with a dog and a few reptiles. She loves music, swimming, and quilting.
