PLAC: Pediatric Pulmonology in Northern VA

The Pediatric Lung and Allergy Center (PLAC) evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents with common and complex breathing disorders and conditions. The PLAC is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a CF Care Center in partnership with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. 

As pediatric pulmonologists, Dr. Clayton, Dr. Kapoor, Dr. Assefa and Dr. Jain completed advanced fellowships concentrating in the respiratory care of newborns, babies, children and teens.

The doctors work closely with our multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals that include an advanced practitioner, nurses, nurse educators, a nutritionist, and a social worker to provide the optimal care to all of our patients.
