We’d like to inform you of important upcoming changes with the Pediatric Lung and Allergy Center. The Pulmonary division of the Pediatric Lung and Allergy Center will be transitioning to Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) effective October 22, 2021. The Allergy and Immunology division of the Pediatric Lung and Allergy Center will be closing as of October 22, 2021.

Dr. Jim Clayton, Dr. Dagne Assefa and Nurse Practitioner Patti DeCorte will see patients at the Prosperity location until October 22, 2021. After the closure, they will continue providing medical care as part of PSV, with offices at 3023 Hamaker Court, Fairfax, VA 22031. The phone number to PSV is (703)876-2788.

Dr. Sunil Kapoor will be relocating from the Northern Virginia area and his last day to see patients will be September 8, 2021.

Dr. Anne Miranowski’s last day to see patients will be October 22, 2021. Dr. Miranowski’s future practice location is to be determined soon and we should have that information available when that location is established.

Please schedule a visit prior to your physician’s transition or departure if you feel that will be helpful. Patients needing assistance in locating another physician should contact their health insurer, primary care physician, or our office.

In addition, all medical records are confidential and protected by federal privacy and security regulations. With your written authorization, a copy of your child’s medical records can be released to you or transferred to another physician. Please note that using our patient portal is the fastest and safest way to request medical records, click here to do so.
