About Us

The Pediatric Surgical Group has been providing the highest level of surgical care for the children of Northern Virginia since the 1970's. It became a division of the Fairfax Neonatal Associates in 2008 to form a pediatric-focused multi-specialty practice.

Our highly trained surgeons are all board certified and provide comprehensive care in general and thoracic pediatric surgery. Using the latest surgical techniques and state-of-the-art equipment, we provide personalized care for each patient and their family, ranging from the unborn fetus to 18 years of age. We work closely with pediatricians, intensive care physicians, and various pediatric sub specialists to provide multi-disciplinary care for all conditions of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis.

Particular areas of expertise include congenital defects (problems present at birth), tumors, gastrointestinal diseases, diseases of the chest, laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, and robotic surgery.

Our surgeons have been recognized both regionally and nationally for their expertise. We are constantly striving to provide the highest level of surgical care using techniques that lead to less pain and faster recovery.
