The Maggie Foundation for the Premature and Pediatric Subspecialty Patients was established to improve the level of health care for at-risk, underserved and disadvantaged babies and mothers. It does health research (as distinguished from Medical research) and works to identify and disseminate information about more effective health care practices as they relate to pediatric subspecialty service and patients.
Specifically, it intends to improve the Level of Detection and Care for at-risk babies, to conduct research and disseminate information about more effective neonatal and pediatric subspecialty medical service; and to improve the understanding and access to pediatric subspecialty care.
